Our first garden vegetable is looking good.

Small, but promising!! Despite loosing some sprouts to a frost in late May - the carrots have continued to grow. So far, our soil looks good for growing plants and our animal deterrents are working! Not planting a garden this year was a difficult choice to make, but it was the right one since I think these poor carrots only got checked on a couple of times this summer. Thankfully, we have great friends and family who shared their fresh garden veggies with us. Can’t wait until next summer!
