Our first summer here at the ranch, I was delighted to discover a plethora of wild strawberries and raspberries growing all over the property - like, enough berries to fill ziplock bags so I could freeze them to enjoy all winter long!! And the flavor of a wild berry (even when frozen) is unbeatable - unlike anything that you can get at a store.
Those hours that I spent in the wild, soaking in the sun, smelling the sweet, berry-tinged air, feeling the light breeze blowing through my hair, listening to the birds singing, foraging just like our ancestors did back in the day, connecting with great people, are now permanently imprinted into my mind as my happy place. I visit this place whenever I am seeking inner calmness or to get centered in my meditations.
Both the experience and the product are something that I couldn't resist sharing. So that is why I have come up with Heirloom Encounters - where guests are invited to the farm to forage and either take home their own bounty or get hands on practice cooking with it. These are not your typical berry picking experiences - have a look, pick your experience and come and join me!!

Berries and Brunch
Not an early riser? Don't worry – you can still get a taste of our Ranch with the Berries and Brunch experience! Once you arrive at the Ranch, you can indulge in a refreshing cup of gourmet coffee, tea, or signature Ranch coffee. With coffee and basket in hand, we'll first take you on a tour of the Ranch and end at the berry patches, where we'll start our next activity – picking ripe, flavourful raspberries. We'll return to the ranch house for a light lunch made with ingredients grown at the Ranch and a complimentary signature ranch cocktail.
Our Berries and Brunch experience weaves together an unforgettable experience where you can immerse yourself in nature, enjoy the classic activity of harvesting from the land, and bond with loved ones or meet new people. Not to mention, you finish with a delicious, homegrown meal and a basket full of fresh berries.
Farm-to-Table Breakfast
Our Farm to Table Breakfast experience lets you connect with nature, unwind among the vibrant country landscape, and hone your culinary skills. Enjoy a fresh cup of gourmet coffee, tea, or signature ranch coffee before setting out on a tour of the Ranch. We'll then stop at the garden, where we'll get our hands dirty, handpicking fresh ingredients for our gourmet breakfast.
Together, we'll transform our harvested ingredients into a mouthwatering meal and pair it with a complimentary signature ranch cocktail that will have your taste buds dancing with joy. We'll eat al fresco, surrounded by the natural beauty of the Ranch. As you enjoy the flavours of fresh, homegrown cooking, savouring every bite of your creation, take in the breathtaking views, listen to the soothing sounds of nature, and enjoy the company of your fellow chefs.
